Interfaith Power and Light is a ministry devoted to deepening the connection between ecology and faith. Gloria Dei shares the goal to help people of faith recognize and fulfill their responsibility for the stewardship of creation.

Many of us here @ GDLC are avid gardeners, and we strive to be smart with our water use as we struggle in following Christ’s mandate to “tend to the Garden”. Our Church grounds are becoming more eco-friendly as we plant heat and drought tolerant and native plantings. We also try to use the vast areas we have in activities that do not require wasting water. Anyone with a green thumb is welcome to join us and get dirty! Call 972.530.8555 for more info.

We offer our basketball court, naturalist plantings, and a labyrinth. We are working on a disc-golf course and hope to add a permanent volley ball court.
