I have a question for you. Are you living out of scarcity or plenty?
This week’s message explores Jesus’ miracle of feeding the 5000.
We all need to be fed, both physically and spiritually.
The truth is most of us operate out of a scarcity mentality rather than an attitude of abundance or plenty.
Did you know that the United States is number one in food waste in the world? In fact, approximately 30-40 percent of the U.S. food supply is wasted.
Hunger in our world is not caused by not having enough food, hunger is caused by poverty and inequality, not scarcity. Approximately 700 million people in the world live on less than $2 a day. They simply can’t afford to eat.
Not only does this lead to physical hunger, but it becomes a barrier to receiving spiritual food.
To hear more about how God cares about both your physical and spiritual hunger, you can view Pastor Tom’s sermon on YouTube or listen on the weekly podcast, “Grace on a Mission.”
