Peter asks, “Jesus, where do we go?” in this weeks gospel reading. It is an important question isn’t it. After Jesus says that they must eat his flesh and drink his blood, many walk away. I mean, these are kind of strange words aren’t they? No Jesus isn’t asking us to be cannibals. He is inviting them to receive life and salvation from him.
Then he asks the disciples, “Do you also wish to go away?” In other words, do you believe me or not? That’s when Peter responds that we have nowhere else to go but to you.
Have you ever been at a point in your life when you felt like you had nowhere to go? You are not alone. Go to Jesus.
